Churned out a few more prints this morning as i want to send off for some samples and want as much of a variety as possible so my final outcome has been thoroughly developed. The last one is my favourite so all the experimenting was worth it! I want some of the prints to be on a jersey and others on crepe de chine so i can create some really delicate 70s inspired pleats on some of the pieces. Ideally i need to experiment on more fabrics but due to cost implications this isn't going to be possible (almost £50 a metre!). I am anxious about using crepe de chine as i haven't worked with it before and as it is sheer i don't know how the prints are going to be sitting back to back (whether they will show through) so this is just something i will have to experiment with...
