Lucy Joy is a freelance illustrator who supplies prints for fashion, scrapbooking, homewares and textiles. She is driven by 'eye catching objects and wobbly lines' which gives her work a really personal handmade feel which is part of my design philosophy. In the last project i wanted to really push my computer skills so i was more confident in producing prints digitally so now i have achieved this i would like to also combine hand drawings. I really like the delicate lines in the print above as it keeps it dainty and feminine. Teapots, cupcakes and birds seem to be motifs which are used everywhere at the moment so i am going to steer clear of these so my work is contemporary but most of all unique and innovative.
