I found the beads in the top pictures at uni the other day and totally fell in love! I'm planning on developing them into some sort of necklace, potentially built into garments but until then i created a print out of one, inspired by the 60's/70's feel of the colours and design. I am conscious that some of my prints are looking like they could be more suited to interiors rather than womenswear so i'm going to start developing hand drawings for a fresh approach. As for the beads, i had an induction in the workshop today and am thinking about developing different beads in acrylic inspired by the ones above. In keeping with the reversible concept i'm hoping to find a way of having different colours on the reverse - may have to create 2 halves and stick them together?
